Vinfast VF e34 Specs, Pricing, Battery Subscription

The front-mounted 110kW (147 horsepower) electric motor of the VF e34, which was first introduced in 2021, can generate 242 Nm of torque. Although it did not disclose its top speed, the business claimed that the electric SUV could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 9 seconds.

VinFast stated that this EV can travel 318.6 km on a 41.9kWh LFP battery, however the range is based on the more permissive NEDC standard. The specifications page on VinFast's website merely said that a VF e34 battery can be charged from 10% to 70% in about 27 minutes, without going into detail about how long the battery can be charged.

18-inch alloy wheels, 290 liters of luggage capacity, leatherette seats, six airbags, a 10-inch infotainment display, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a six-speaker audio system, and a linked mobile app are some of the VF e34's other noteworthy features. Even though the EV only has passive cruise control, its Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADAS) provides features including Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Parking Assistance, and a 360-degree camera.

The VF e34 costs IDR315 million (~RM94,314) in Indonesia, although this price does not include the battery. That's correct, you have to pay extra to use the battery, which seems a little strange considering that the EV doesn't have a replaceable battery.

In Indonesia, the monthly subscription price for the VF e34 battery covers a maximum mileage of 3,000 km and starts at IDR1.5 million (~RM449). In the event that clients want transportation over 3,000 kilometers, the monthly service charge would be IDR2.6 million (~RM779).

A similar arrangement was also given for the EV back in Vietnam. The VF e34 costs VND710 million (~RM135,031) without the battery, while the monthly subscription for the battery costs between VND2.1 million (~RM399) and VND3.5 million (~RM666).

Vietnamese consumers do not have to join up for the battery rental program in order to purchase the VF e34 altogether, unlike their Indonesian counterparts. However, this specific option increased the cost of the EV to VND830 million (~RM157,853).
