In South Africa, Vivo has released the V30 5G smartphones.
At the launch ceremony held at Kyalami's Jody Scheckter Viewing Deck, Vivo stated that the primary goal of these smartphones is to provide exceptional photographic features.
According to Vivo SA GTM Manager Jay Yang, "the goal of our V30 5G series is to bring our consumers studio-level portrait quality."
The V30 series will also be the first Vivo smartphones available on MTN, Vodacom, Telkom, and Cell C, the country's four main telecom providers.

The main feature of the V30 5G is its Aura Light Portrait, a rectangular panel on the back of the phone that improves the lighting in your pictures.

Additionally, it features focused technologies like Smart Color Temperature Adjustment and Distance Lighting, which adjusts lighting according to the subject's distance from the camera.
The technologies in this lighting module are specifically engineered to function effectively with the camera system of the V30 5G. This camera system consists of a 50MP Ultra Wide-Angle camera, a 50MP VCS True Color camera, and an additional 2MP sensor.
The 6.78-inch curved 2,800 x 1,260 AMOLED screen on the V30 5G has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a local peak brightness of 2,800 nits.
The smartphone's bezels, which are limited to the top and bottom of the device, are minimized by the curved display.
The Vivo V30 5G has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, 512GB of storage, and 12GB of RAM for performance.
