Benchmarks show the OPPO Reno12 Pro Global variant with Dimensity 7300 and 12GB RAM.
The Reno12 series smartphone was unveiled by OPPO in China last month, and the company has now revealed that it will soon be available worldwide. With the model number OPPO CPH2629, the global version of the Reno 12 Pro is now listed on Geekbench.
According to this, the phone would run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, which was unveiled last week. This means it will be among the first smartphones to use the processor.
With 4X Arm Cortex-A78 cores running at up to 2.5GHz combined with 4X Arm Cortex-A55 cores, the Dimensity 7300 SoC uses a 4nm process, which can reduce power consumption by up to 25% when compared to the Dimensity 7050's 6nm process.
According to MediaTek, the Arm Mali-G615 GPU promises 20% quicker frames per second and 20% more energy efficiency than competitors.
There are rumors that the Dimensity 7300 chip will be used by both the Reno12 and Reno12 Pro. Recall that the OPPO Reno11 is powered by the Dimensity 7050 SoC, so this ought to be a significant improvement. If this turns out to be accurate, it's a downgrade because the Reno11 Pro uses a Dimensity 8200 SoC.
The phone has Android 14 and 12GB of RAM, according to the Geekbench listing. The OPPO Reno12 is rumored to include a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP camera. The Reno12 Pro is rumored to have a 50MP LYT600 main sensor; further information regarding the other cameras is unknown.
