Fast X's official spokesperson Vin Diesel took to Instagram to thank fans and remind everyone that this is just the first of what is planned as at least two, and as Vin recently rumored, three movies.
Fast X has now surpassed $600 million worldwide after a little less than a month on release. He declared that Part 2 would arrive on April 4, 2025.
That's a significant claim right now because the ongoing writers' strike prevents screenplays from being completed, which causes numerous delays for movies like this.
And yeah, we'll give you permission to make the clichéd "but Fast franchise movies don't really need scripts!" joke.
