We may be counting down the days before the release of the eagerly awaited animated sequel Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. - but keep in mind that anyone can wear the mask, and based on remarks made by Spider-Verse producer Amy Pascal this week at the film's premiere, we may be seeing a lot more web-slinging on the big screen soon.
When questioned about a Spider-Woman movie and a live-action Miles Morales (now voiced by Shameik Moore), Pascal responded, "You'll see all of it," in a statement to Variety. Everything is happening. To be honest, there isn't much information there. But it doesn't eliminate them! In fact, the idea that the Spidey that so many people have grown to adore in the animated Spider-Verse could have his own 3D trip sounds quite encouraging. Producer Avi Arad hinted that Spider-Woman would appear on the big screen "sooner than you expect" in his Spider-Woman teaser.
Pascal sounded more assured in response to questions about a fourth Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland and Zendaya as the characters Peter Parker and MJ. "Will we be producing another film? We are, of course," she asserts. However, it makes sense that the current WGA strike is slowing down progress. "We're in the process, but nobody is working because of the writers' strike. We're all giving them our support, and once they start working together, we'll start. We can't possibly list all the Spider-Man movies that have been released on screen between No Way Home, Across The Spider-Verse, and these upcoming possible projects. Thankfully, almost everything is conceivable within the Marvel multiverse...
