Of course, there hasn't been a formal announcement from Disney, and there's no assurance it'll actually happen given that the movie is still in development. Even Nevertheless, the sequel did well for the business on Disney+ in October even though it didn't receive great reviews.
The sequel might feature Vinessa Shaw's Allison Watts and Omri Katz's Max Dennison, the screenwriter Jen D'Angelo revealed to Variety.
D'Angelo said on the website of the trade publication, "We tried so hard to get the original cast back for cameos but it just kept not working out for one reason or another." "But I'm hoping that in Hocus Pocus 3, we'll see Max and Alison living in California."
Whatever transpires, we can count on the witchy figures played by Bette Middler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy to cause some fresh trouble.
